There are lots of awesome new things coming with CashDuck's reopening, so here's a quick rundown. Please check the help files for more info - if you have a question that the help files don't address, please post it here so everyone can see the answers.

Numero Uno Most Important - TEAMS!! This was a huge effort by Andrew, the programmer that keeps CashDuck and many other sites in top shape, so I'm really pleased with how everything turned out. Basically, a team is a group of CashDuck members who get their own board on the forum, and raise money for a charity that they sponsor. So if you'd like to raise money for a cause that's important to you, your child's Boy Scout troop, or a local humane society, you can use CashDuck to help them. Whenever you earn cash or feathers, your team's charity will get a bonus of 2% on that amount. The more people you get on your team, the more your charity will earn!

2 - Daily Surveys!! These were another frequently requested item. CashDuck now has two surveys that you can take once every 24 hours, and they are worth 10 feathers each. So if you do them every day, that's about 600 feathers a month from those alone. Add that to the whopping numbers of new offers, and you've got some serious earning going on.

3 - Conversion to a feathers-based system. The reason that I'm able to get all these great new offers is because CashDuck is now offering feathers instead of cash for surveys and trials. You will continue to be able to earn both cash and feathers from rebate shopping. The list of gift cards up right now is just a beginning - if you have a store you'd like to see gift cards to, please send me an inbox message or email, and I will see if I can get the cards. Gift cards will be sent out on the same schedule as cash payments were - ie, make your withdrawal by the end of the month, and the payments will be made at the end of the next month. Plus, if you request a bigger gift card, it costs proportionally fewer feathers. If you request multiple gift cards during one month, they'll be combined at payout time and you may receive one big one.

I am so excited to be back - this is pretty awesome!

YAY! So glad Kira & CashDuck are back! Sure have missed ya

The new changes are fun! I know there will be more to come, but curious if you'll bring back the Duck game? So much excitement! Can't wait to get started again!

Quackers was basically abused - there were an AWFUL lot of people who never did any offers, just took the free feathers every week. Obviously you can see how this becomes costly x 11,000 members. So it may be back in the future, but not without a lot of changes.

I just logged in last night to see if there was an update on when Cash Duck was coming back...I considered writing an e-mail that said "Is it mid October yet, is it mid-October yet?

" but I didn't. And then what to my wondering eyes did appear, but a message from Kira, that spread warmth to my ears! Cash Duck was back, it said, and I made sure to check it out before bed.

Great to have you back Kira and Cash Duck! And a BIG thanks for keeping our accounts and referrals intact. I was worried we would have to start from scratch again!

Another good thing with coming back now- start stocking up on gift cards for yourself and for holiday gifts!

yay!! I'm visiting some relatives right now so I can't start until I get back home (I don't know if any of them use GPT so I don't want to risk having my account booted)

I hope you can bring back the quackers game! I loved getting the banks on there!! Maybe you can make it so you get a lesser amount of feathers if you don't choose the price? For instance, if it costs say 10 feathers to play, and you don't choose to take the prize, you only get 5 feathers back? Then maybe people wouldn't abuse it so much.

Can't wait to get started again!

I think that Quackers will be changed so it gives various amounts of prizes, so that it can be played more than once per week. I didn't want people to lose feathers in the first version, or come out anything less than ahead, but that didn't go very well. It will definitely be back once I have some time to work on it.

I used Quakers to win Referrals, large amounts of feathers (I think I got 50 once), and the dollars. I never accepted the physical items because...well I have too much stuff as it is x_x.

I'm sorry if I was cheating the game. Maybe you could just make it so it doesn't give you extra feathers, just what you paid?

THe issue was really people who logged on once a week just to get the free feathers for months, and didn't do any offers ever again, basically. The free feathers come out of profits on offers, so if they dnd't do any.. you can see how that would be a problem. People who actually did stuff weren't.

And it's not cheating to get these feathers for free - it just wasn't what I intended the game to be, and I had to take the game down because so many people were doing this that it was costing a lot. I will have to alter the prizes so that on average it puts out what you put in, to avoid the huge losses.
